4 months agoA few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Celia and Charlie again before their upcoming wedding. We walked around the Farmer’s Market near where they live and I watched them fall in love all over again. Celia and Charlie are such a fun couple to be around because they are the epitome of soulmates - you can tell that they absolutely adore each other. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding on August 9th!

Hey, all! I’m sorry that I’ve been so horribly MIA lately. In my absence I’ve done a couple things worth mentioning! I upgraded from a crappy Dell laptop to a gorgeous new MacBook :) I spent the day with the lovely Natalie Franke and some other cool photographers and planned an awesome little getaway in a few weeks. 5 months agoHow is it July already!? I feel like just yesterday I was walking around Center City with Eliza Jayne and her awesome wedding gown finding a place to start our shoot. As soon as I saw Eliza’s wedding gown + guitar, I knew that she was going to rock this session. Eliza was up for anything and didn’t try to protect her gown. She was so fearless and I love when I have clients like that! Eliza, I can’t wait to work with you again! Enjoy your sneak preview :)

This past Sunday I had an awesome portrait session with Christa in South Philadelphia. I love working with natural light because there is no way working with studio lights could give you golden backlighting like we had. The light shined through the trees and gave such an awesome golden flare that lit up her hair and really brought our her eyes. Christa was a trooper as I made her lay on the ground and in the middle of the street, hehehe. Anything for the perfect picture, right? :)

So this past weekend I got the chance to spend some time with one of the most adorable babies! You can also see her here in a previous post with Krista and Stu but she’s still in her mommy’s tummy :)
Alexis is still pretty small and curly but she’s not super sleepy which challenged me. I have to say, though, I got some awesome pictures of her so the challenge was well worth it. I can’t wait to get back to North Carolina so I can watch her grow. Krista and Stuart - look out! You’re gonna have a sassy lil’ mama on your hands. Thank you for welcoming me into your home and sharing your daughters first few days with me. Enjoy!

I spent the better part of my afternoon following behind Deanna and Karl documenting their young love. At first they were a little shy in front of my lens but eventually got used to the stalkeratzzi and warmed up. They had such a natural chemistry that you don’t usually see in young couples - the love was so apparent that a lot of passersby stopped and watched us for a bit. Deanna and Karl - I hope you enjoy these! More are on the way :)

Wow today was such an eventful day but so worth all of it. Julia and I have been chit chatting all week worrying about today’s weather and crossing our fingers that it wouldn’t rain. Thankfully today turned out to be gorgeous so Julia, Rich and I headed to Valley Greene to capture some engagement photos before their October wedding. After we exhausted the Valley, we headed near the Art Musuem and ended our day. To say this couple was fun would be an understatement - from Julia’s bubbly giggle to Rich’s calm stare! I had an awesome time today and I cannot wait for their Halloween themed wedding this autumn. Julia and Rich - I hope you enjoy this sneak peek! I had the hardest time deciding which few to show you! I loved them all and I hope you do too.
